Byron is originally from Piedmont, OK and currently resides in Harrah, OK. Byron has played guitar and steel guitar and has sang in bands for over 20 years, sharing the stage with artists from Cross Canadian Ragweed to Wanda Jackson and opening for artists such as Dierks Bently, Lady Antebellem, Gary P. Nunn, Bucky Covington, Lorrie Morgan, Luke Bryan. Hank Williams, Jr. and Jason Boland. Byron has now put together his own band and says "We have tried to capture that 70's outlaw country sound that Waylon was known for". Byron has brought together a talented group of musicians with more than 20 plus years of experience between them and you will hear that authentic Waylon sound when you see a Byron McKedy and The Bandits show!
